Quick & Simple
How about a quick and easy card you can make in about 5 minutes?
Today’s card is super classy and chic but also super easy and quick to make. The trick is to find a stamp set with a bold graphic and mix that in with a pop of color.
I used the Accented Blooms stamp set and coordinating Tailored Tag punch. The beauty of the Accented Blooms stamp set is that it gives you the opportunity to make your cards as simple or as detailed as you have the time and/or desire to.
For the card I made today, I simply stamped and punched the sentiment, added a strip of designer paper and finished it off with a few rhinestones…seriously 5 minutes or less.
For this card from a few days ago, not only did I stamp and punch the sentiment, but I also stamped and colored the coordinating flower images…I probably spent at least 40 minutes.
I love the Accent Bloom Stamp set — You can create beautiful cards no matter how much time you have to spend.
Adding Accents
So, I thought my card looked a little to ordinary with just the sentiment and strip of DSP. And what it really needed to finish it off was some black rhinestones. The problem was, I didn’t have any. But no worries, I simply colored the Basic Rhinestones with a black sharpie — Problem solved.
Tip: Use Sharpies or Stampin’ Blend markers to color rhinestones to match any color scheme.
Tip: To get a nicely filled in, clear solid image, use the Stamparatus. It allows you to stamp over exactly the same spot multiple times. So you won’t have those annoying places that the ink didn’t completely fill in.
Well, thanks for stopping by today. I hope you see that with the right stamp set you can make beautiful cards no matter how much time you have.
