Stampin’ Up! Animal Outing
Hey guys! Today I made this charming card with the Stampin’ Up! Animal Outing stamp set. The animals in this set are absolutely adorable.
I originally thought this set would only be good for making cards for kids, but I can see myself giving this card to any guy, no matter his age.
Creating Today’s Card
I began with a card base made out of Whisper White Thick Cardstock. I like to use the thick cardstock for my card bases because it can support multiple layers and/or embellishements better than the regular Whisper White cardstock.
I used the stitched rectangle dies to cut out the different layers. The argyle paper layer was cut from one of the patterns in the Country Club DSP pack.
If you don’t have the stitched rectangle dies no problem — simply cut rectangles out with your paper trimmer. You will just be missing the stitched detail.
Coloring
I used Copics to color my image but I’ve indicated the Stampin’ Blend colors that most closely match in the supply list.
Copic Colors:
- Rhino: T6, T4, T2
- Bird: BG13, Y13, YR16, R27
- Grass: G94, G99
