Never Enough Friendship Cards
I don’t know about you, but I never seem to have enough friendship cards. Especially now, during this time of social distancing, when it’s so important to keep in touch with friends and family. And of course what better way to keep in touch than by sharing a handmade card.
Today, I made a bright and cheerful friendship card with the Seriously the Best Stamp Set, Pigment Sprinkles and the Ornate Border dies. I love the vibrant colors and pretty floral border. If anyone is feeling down this card is sure to perk up their spirits.

Seriously the Best Stamp Set
The Seriously the Best stamp set has big bold sentiments that I love to use when making cards. I really like for the sentiment to be the focal point of my cards. Sadly this set is retiring on June 2, so be sure to purchase is now before it’s too late. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
Pigment Sprinkles
The floral borders on both cards below were cut from paper that I colored with Melon Mambo and Mango Melody Pigment Sprinkles. Notice how one is softer and more pastel while the other is bright and vibrant.
That’s one of the thinkgs I really liked about the Pigment Sprinkles — Add lots of water to get lighter pastel shades or add less water to get deep vibrant shades.
More Colors Than You Would Expect
While Pigment Sprinkles come in six colors: Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape, I found that you could actually achieve many more Stampin’ Up! Color than that by mixing the the colors and adding more or less water.
Melon Mambo & Mango Melody = Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie & Poppy Parade
I used Melon Mambo and Mango Melody Pigment Sprinkles for the border of both these cards. And as expected, there are areas that perfectly match Melon Mambo and Mango Melody, but there are also areas that perfectly match Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, and Poppy Parade.

Ornate Border Dies
